Purple is considered to be one of the most sophisticated colors of the palette and is one of the most common colors chosen to represent royalty. Together, red and blue create this strong, bright color which often attracts people who are often charismatic, intuitive and deep.

There are so many shades of the color purple that inhibit characteristics that appeal to not only our taste buds but to our noses as well such as plum, lavender, lilac and grape. No wonder this color is so delicious!

Typically, purple is considered a more feminine color but it is not uncommon to see purple paired with just the right color, such as orange, brown or black for a more masculine appeal. After all, it is the Purple Heart that is given to our men and women of the military to recognize their acts of bravery and honor.

And though, most often when you bring up the color purple when referring to children the image of a favorite purple dinosaur may pop into your head, it seems that someone realized the effect this color has when it comes to kids! What a better to say “ I love you, you love me, we're a happy family,” than to pay homage to their favorite childhood pal, Barney!
