The Baby Jogger Company began over 20 years ago when Phil Baechler wanted to take his infant son along with him while he jogged. Baechler soon realized that his son's stroller was not designed withstand the stress of long distance usage over various terrains so he set out to develop a specialized stroller that was more favorable to running. Through this development, Baechler created the original jogging stroller, which he named the Baby Jogger.

The innovation continued when Baechler designed a jogging stroller that was made to hold two children, the Twinner, just two years later. Throughout the past 20 years, Baby Jogger has worked to refine their designs to enhance stroller performance while also adapting to the changing needs of parents.
