Graco Children’s Products, Inc. originally began in 1942 as metal fabrication company that manufactured machine and car parts for local manufacturers in Philadelphia. In 1954, Graco emerged as a juvenile product manufacturer with the introduction of the Swyngomatic, the first wind-up infant swing. The popularity of the Swyngomatic positioned Graco to become one of the world’s leading juvenile product manufacturers.

Graco’s innovation in childcare product development has continued throughout the years with the creation of Pack ‘N Play portable playards and the conception of the infant travel system, which made life much easier for parents traveling with newborns.

Graco continues to manufacture several other childcare products in addition to strollers including high chairs, car seats, swings, playards, activity centers, toddler beds, bath products, diaper bags, potty training items and baby monitors. Today, Graco operates as a unit under Newell Rubbermaid. Graco’s brand names include Pack ‘N Play, SafeSeat, Snugride, TotWheels, SoundSleep, Mosaic and DuoRider.

Graco is a JPMA Member, and each Graco stroller is JPMA Certified.
