Together with his wife in 1949, Perego developed his first baby stroller to fit the needs he felt were being missed with the strollers of his day. Made specifically for his first son, his stroller was then “prettied up” by his wife with stylish fabric and functional accessories. Soon, the people of his community were requesting their own strollers and helped to build one man's project into a flourishing company. 

These days, Peg Perego is carried on by Giuseppe's sons who continue to project their father's vision and drive to provide the safest, most functional and stylish baby stroller on the market. Italian standards of fashion and quality are well known to be some of the highest in the world and are taken into account with the production of each new stroller to hit the streets.
